Christine

I can remember the first time I got my hands on a camera. I was six years old and my mom had left her purse unattended one morning while she was getting ready for work. I did what came natural – found the most interesting item in her purse, a disposable camera, and ran outside. I climbed the tree in our front yard and snapped away. My mom was late for work that morning and she was not happy with me, but my love for photography was born that day in our yard.

Nine years later, I enrolled in a media production class during my sophomore year of high school. I started out shooting flowers and landscapes then fell in love with lighting and portraits during my senior year. I’m now in my second year of the photography program at Washtenaw Community College. ~ Christine
